We welcome hen parties and family or friends gathering together to share a special weekend and provide discounted rates for this. We can help with recommendations for activities (bouncy castles, paint balling, cookery classes, fishing, sailing, walking and horse riding are all available close by) to complete your break.

No Hidden Costs
All cottage hire rates include linen, towels and electricity costs. A laundry room and payphone are provided on site for the exclusive use of guests.

Furry Friends
We are sorry that we cannot accommodate pets, except for guide dogs, however there are two boarding kennels and catteries, both within a 5 minute walk from the property, Lea Farm (0114 2851229) and Edgedale (0114 2851226).

Local Produce
The local butchery- deli- cafe are more than happy to provide a hamper of superb local and artisan goods for your arrival, please contact them at info@theschoolrooms.co.uk to arrange this service (at extra cost).

Personal Chef
Frank Boddy is a qualified chef and his services can be hired to provide you with
a cooking session in the holiday cottage offering you the chance to learn to cook at your own pace or to learn a new style of cuisine. Alternatively Frank will provide
a professionally cooked meal to serve at the end of a day when you've been out enjoying the local countryside.

All accommodation is non smoking however guests are free to smoke outside of the properties.

Five individually styled holiday cottages in the converted courtyard buildings of a Grade II listed castellated folly overlooking the postcard perfect villages of High and Low Bradfield. Ideally located twenty minutes one way from the bustle of Sheffield City Centre and twenty minutes in the opposite direction from the magnificent Peak District. If you have tired of hotels, limited space and restricted mealtimes a holiday cottage is the perfect solution.

In addition to a large TV with DVD/VCR, CD player and plentiful off street parking. Free high speed Wi-Fi broadband is available to all guests. Laundry facilities are available including washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. There are extensive lawns perfect for outdoor games and barbequeing.

We can provide cots and highchairs at no extra charge for families with little ones.
